Hi all,

Was just wondering if anyone is giving Skyforge a go? It's a Sci-Fi MMORPG (http://sf.my.com/us) Open Beta testing started yesterday and I've been playing and so far its pretty sweet. Its quite a polished game already.

One pretty cool feature is that you can change between classes at any point, and theres a pretty massive skill tree (called the Ascension Atlas) so your progress with each class is saved.

I disagree Spankproof matey, I think it looks cool, gona give it a got today so will let you know more, but from vids I've watched i like it, skill tree looks a bit mad but sure a guide will appear for certain classes lol

edit: watched more vids, not good, couldn't bring myself to invest time in it solo play anyway

I've made a start on this. Liking it so far. Not open world, but can't expect that from every MMO. Great how you can switch and level each class once you've unlocked them on atlas.

I've been playing it off and on the past week, pretty fun so far. Mob difficulty gets a bit out of wack once you get higher prestige though it seems.

I'm actually really enjoying it. There's a little grind to it that some people may not enjoy, but the game has a lot of stuff to keep you busy, like dungeons, PvP, an "Order" system, the Ascension Atlas which is like a huge tree for all your classes, etc. The mobs and bosses do get a lot more difficult, but I think MMOs these days are too easy anyway and I'm enjoying the difficulty, including dying ten times on the same boss trying to solo an adventure :) And the combat and graphics are just beautiful

I didn't give it too long but for me, story not good did not feel attached to character at all no connection.

Class system could be good, didn't want to spend and hour trying to figure out best build in the web type learning tree. Similar to path of exile. Bag space is a nightmare.

Combat was meh, click mb1 a lot occasionally others. many of same / similar mobs robots.

Some of it did look beautiful but a lot of polish needed many textures jaggedly lines, mapping not quite there either on armour really boring landscapes in parts. Not open world, it's hub / instance based also not a fan of.

Due to playing solo didn't give it too long like 2h so this just me short solo experience of a beta game. Not condeming it just yet but I'll pass for now or unless i get a group

Edit: just read this and it's a tad negative, plenty of promise this has will give more of a chance at weekend

Hey guys I played it for about an hour. Saw a nice island across a river, tried to run across got turned back. Jumped into said river up to my chest and instantly died....

I stopped playing after that. Apparently too much dev time to add animations for combat while in water. Which is fine buy why include water then...

Not really one for me currently hooked on Trove at the moment :D

You do know you are allowed to speak a bit negative about a game as your own personal opinion ;) I actually share the opinion: Not willing to spend so much time in another, rather generic looking, MMO. It is just not for us donkzy! We need candy barbarians, parrots as guns and shooting big ice cream sundaes!

Trove is so good... Why... Why Krill? why can't I stop :D?
