It is 9,99 €/£ for Premium (for phone) and 4.99 €/£ for Unlimited (no ads).Is it still £5 a month to have it on your phone? Or is the price increased?

i had a free account, but somehow it would very rarely play adverts, it would go for almost an hour without an advert sometimes!
i use grooveshark now, its great. i don't think it will last much longer though. a lot of music is getting taken down and they are having a lot of legal action taken against them.

No offence but what you just said is just beeing cheap. Paying 10£ a month isn't a lot of money for unlimited music and beeing able to listen to it wherever you are if you have a smartphone. Buying a song on iTunes costs what, 1£?
Yes, there are some music snobs out there who rant at Spotify for not having every song out there but you still get a lot for what you pay.
Regarding the adverts its the same as with YouTube, the more popular Spotify got the more adverts they added, and it's ofcourse a trick to get people to get premium accounts.

Spotify is a business and they want to earn money and people started to rage when they changed they buisness model to limit for those who's not paying when you still get an awsome service for a small amount of money. I don't think there is anyone who can argue against that.

The weirdest thing me and my friends can't figure out is that I got Spotify without ads with just downloading the free version on the official website. Have it for months now without ads or any blockprograms and haven't paid a dime.
Yeah I have that thing too and I also can listen any song as much as I like.
