Thought I'd dip my toe in the water. Have a look at the following site Free Man on the Land .

The forum is particularly interesting. I would like to know what your views are of the ideas being expressed here. I've spoken with my solicitor here in Ireland about some of the details, particularly the court appearance stuff and he was initially quite skeptical. He has now changed his tune and raves about this stuff.

Lol, not at all Sketch. Having read it it's very intriguing and very much inline with my personal views about freedom - specifically freedom from the government.

Not sure about the religious freaks bit but yes tax dodging would be right in some cases. Maybe try the tpuc.org site first. The John fella has some interesting presentations that state the concept of Free Man on the Land more clearly.

Sorry on the first website I was directed to some crazy American in a video. and ... well he's American. Religious freak. Anyway this is kinda enlightening... wish I hadn't voted now, lol.

A very clever man it seems, but I can see that most ppl will use this information to dodge tax rather than actually do anything to help the world. That's what I would do.

Fredom form the government means you cant do anything, no traveling, no Healthcare none of the services the government provide like getting rid of your trash. I mean you can live with all the luxuries or totally without them.

The government should not provide transport or healthcare and it should not collect trash. Government should be restricted to police, military and courts. The rest should be provided by private companies. Private companies always provide better service provided that the government doesn't regulate and interviene all the time.

I follow a lot of the FOTL movement stuff. There are hundreds of cases flung out because someone know about this, the tricky part is sticking to your convictions hard enough through the days/weeks/months of being bombarded with threats/lies and attempts to deceive you into slipping up and entering into contract and concenting to be policed by statutes/acts that should not apply to you the natural being in the first place. Pretty much every single thing you think is "law" is not applicable to a natural person, only to a corporation, your name and date of birth together form a corporation that is what other corporations enter into contract with. You the person and you the "Legal fiction" are seperate entities and have seperate laws to govern them. Law of the land applies to you the being, law of the sea applies to you the "legal fiction".

Law of the land boils down to, do not harm someone, do not harm someone's property, do not steal someones property, do not break contracts.

Anything else is law of the sea aka trading laws. These are known as Statutes and acts.

Traveling on public roads in a car is perfectly lawful, you do not need a licence, you do not need insurance, you do not need to register the car. No one can stop you from travelling on public roads using any method of transportation you choose, this is partially why bikes are allowed on roads without a licence.
By registering your car you lose ownership of the car and you become its keeper, essentially you are now renting the right to use your car on roads, and part of the renting agreement is that you follow the statutes and acts that apply to businesses using the roads for commerce.

It is however is impractical to fight the corrupt bullshit that is the current legal/lawful system if you want to live a "modern" lifestyle. I doubt I will fight the courts over income tax/council tax as it could easily backfire if I make one minor slip up in the case and I could end up concenting to be governed by a statute that will throw me in jail. Something I would like to avoid.

That is the meaning of register that any UK court uses. The Act of Registration hands over ownership. When you register your car, you lose ownership of it. It is because of that reason that you can have your car taken from you and it is not theft. When you register your child with a name and dob and sign it, you lose ownership of your child, this is why social services etc can lawfully take your child if you beak the rules that you agreed to when you became the "keeper" of your child and his trust(legal fiction) until it turns 16 and the trust becomes it's own to deal with.
