So as the title suggests I was looking around today for a program or addon to help me track all of the manga series that i read. It's easy enough to stay on top of the most popular series since they're marked and displayed at the top of the page on the site I use. Unfortunately for me I read 8+ series that aren't on that list and I always pick up new series every few weeks, some only update once a month though so it's hard to remember to check for them.

Anyway I was hoping someone in the guild would be able to point me in the right direction for learning how to make a simple tracking program myself that would link in to http://www.mangareader.net so I would be able to see when any of the Manga I put on a list had been updated. I haven't done any programming before so it might take me a while to do and I will harass people with questions a lot though :D

If it's not something that I would be able to work out and someone has the free time and inclination to I would love it if an answer to my problems were to magically appear <3

Try. Google reader and then subscribe to the manga RSS feed for releases.

You could also try Usenet, subscribe to a manga on there and there are Usenet tracking programs that will automate all your downloads from then on.

Just tried out both of those options but they don't really do the job I want :( I'm sure i'll work something out to pull the full name of the manga from the frontpage of mangareader.net so i get a heads up about all the new things that aren't the most popular :)

Are there no RSS feeds from each manga?

Mangastream.com is usually the best manga site though!

I usually check through these while waiting for various mangas.. but I'm sure there's an app for it. (mangahit.com, mangastream.com, mangareader.com, mangahere.com)
