[Darkademic]

This is intended to continue from the Communism vs Capitalism thread; albeit shifting the focus to the fundamentals of philosophy.

The foundation of philosophy is metaphysics. Thankfully it's straighforward.

1.) Existence (stuff, something, reality, everything that is) exists.

2.) Consciousness is conscious.

3.) A is A. Things have an identity, contradictions do not exist in nature.

Those are the 3 axioms which are implicit in all knowledge. One must accept them before any other knowledge is even possible.
