I don't like the idea of the gherkins, but the thought of jalapenos in a sandwich has given me a semi... TO THE KITCHEN!

But a warm sandwhich I get this from my local butchers who a have a sandwhich making buisness on the side.
Grilled baguette, with freshly cooked on double sided grill plate (takes about 120 seconds to cook) Garlic chicken + peppers + onions + cheese all cooked together. with a little mayo and fresh tomatoes, and a twist of black pepper. delicious

a chicken escalope with cheese on top, put under the grill to melt the cheese before covering up with the top piece of bread. Garnished with red sauce
Replace the boring beagouis chicken with the awesomeness of that is steak and you have yourself a contender!

Smoked salami strips, lountza strips, smashed chopped up Cyprus village sausage fried together with chopped onions and chopped bacon strips put in preheat oven for maybe 5-10 minutes if your ingredients are cold, and for veggies add some fresh tomato and cucumber slices along with some lettuce and plenty of fresh mayo in it if u know how to make your own mayo even better
that's a sandwich that does not guarantee a long life but its worth every moment of it ill take a picture next time I make one
