Well as a child I used to suffer from terrible night terrors.. I used to run into my mums room screaming and wanting to lay in her bed.. Weird things is this night terror felt more like a trance it was very realistic and as much as i tried to wake up to break this weird night terror i just had to wait till i died...

Soo what was my night terror?

I would have this nightmare always in the beginning of june, where my body would randomly go to the toilet and the door slams shut behind me, i try to run out but it wouldnt open, as if there was some force pushing the door shut... the bathroom lights flicker and make a weird popping sound, i then turn around to witness a fairly old coloured woman (Indian i presume) having a weird seizure on the toilet, as the light goes off and on really fast like a strobe light the body got more and more deformed and more and more blood would ooze out from her eyesockets and mouth, then her eyes would pop out... this would go on for about 20 seconds in the dream until she finally jumps from the toilet seat and i would think bites my head off causing me to wake up.. i don't know how long this dream would last for in realife it could have been hours but only felt like 20 seconds in the dream, usually if something scares you, you would instantly wake up to break it.. this wasn't the case.. I still get it now but ofc i have grown to not give a shit about it..

I paint a very good picture but that's only because of how real it seemed...

It was about 3 years ago we started getting letters for a - Mrs. J Bahreed and my address attached.... My mum phoned up and said that a J Bahreed doesnt live at this house and they removed her from the address...
considering it started when i was 5 (13 years ago) so for 10 years i was in the dark as to why i was suffering this night terror... I then watched Insidious last year.. and it was the first film id seen that explained about night terrors and to then realise that this is what i had, (Re occurring nightmare)

I dunno its all a bit weird... Getting a cold shiver down my back as i type this now.. so ill move off subject cos she is probably angry at me...

My dog can sometimes sit and stare at a picture of my Grandad on top of a cupboard where his ashes are and a football will take her mind off anything.. i freaked out that she would sit there and stare for about 10 minutes not moving at all.. soo i grabbed a ball and called her name.. she turnt to me and saw me holding a ball ( im honest when i say she would come bounding over at you) she ignored me and continued to stare at his picture... i panicked and had to pick my dog up and take her outside and just sit out there and calm down... i hate this shit about ghosts but as much as we hate them we have to deal with them being around because they are real.. :)

Sounds like a nightmare caused by the fear of toilet training, lmao. If you sit on the toilet you die!

Sorry...couldn't help it ^_^

I think one of my exes had some of the most interesting ghost stories. She came from Whitby and lived on the same street the gallows used to be on. A friend of hers was a wiccan and liked to play with ouija boards, she apparently had a few nights messing around with it at her place. The first time nothing really happened, the second time the lights went out and one of the guys involved got a slap across the face (could've been a prank but hey) and then the third time everything went pear shape... lights flickered, the vhs kept ejecting and the glass they were using flew right off the table with force. Safe to say they never tried it again.

Since that third time though her place became haunted by something they believed might have been a famous local 'witch' hanged on the gallows and some strange french guy :S. Loads of things happened in that house... spices would be laid out in patterns on the kitchen tops, same with bath stuff... her boyfriend at the time continually got scratch marks whenever he walked through the hall... and one of the freakiest things was when she went for a bath and saw 'I see you' being written in french on the shower frame.

HellsingDS.. thanks for making my toilet experiences even scarier!! haha!!

that's totally fucked up though!! I hate it when you walk around the house and you see a black silhouette in the corner of your eye and turn to see nothing... That always creeps me out!!

When I was young there was a april 1st joke on tv where they claimed ghosts were real and showed (fake) footage, and I was absolutely terrified for several weeks until my parents convinced me to write the tv studio a letter and they wrote back that it was just a joke.

I may be gullible, but I do not believe in ghost stories anymore. I try to remember that the mind is more easily fooled than you might think, and what you expect to see/hear/sense definitely influences your brain's interpretation of what your senses tell you.
