Hey Lads

Building an off rig with spare computer parts that i have collected through updating my current Rig, id like any suggestions about power supplys following the bellow specifications that you can think off that could fit my standard any inside ideas or generally hint's about what i should get would be greatly appreciated.

Power Supply Specs
12vRails
80-90+amps
750-1000wats
semi-modular or not
(does not matter better air flow if its semi-modular IMO)
8pin 2 8pin connector + 6pin running on a 12v+ rail for gpu
minimum 6sata power connecters optimal 8
4pinx2 (standard)
20?+4pin(for motherboard or how many is 20+4? i think)
the old 4 pin (thick head plugs, that's what we call them here, its the one for any fan floopy or old dvd drives hdd)

My power consumpion on my rig from what i estimate is about 300w+?(not really sure how much it is arround 4hdd 4case+1DRAM fans +external HDD and an old sound blaster card without the GPU on full load

any help or advice would be appreciated as long as it is tested and quite endurable off-market brands other than Thermaltek or Cooler Master or whatsoever are most welcome.

Budget
156GBP+shipping

Cheers.

I'm using a AX650 Corsair, it modular and has a very good rating.

Check out all the top brands and find one that suits your needs, at the end of the day all PSU's are roughly the same.
Just read reviews on them and choose

i would like to keep the wats to minimum of 700 not that 650 is to low but i already have a 700 PSU sitting the problem with it it aint got enough pins that am looking for. its 90+% rating for power effiiciency if am not mistaken, from what i read which makes it a really great power supply. i'll put this on my look outs cheers.

Well i found two possible solutions for the rig
the Toughpower XT 875W 192(maybe cheaper due to the owner knowing me)eu has most of the things i'd like or would like at that price :|
and the OCZ ZX 850W 177eu the price range that i can get the OCZ is about 15eu(11gbp) cheaper than the psu above however it is 25w less and i never used any ocz products before unlike thermaltake
both are 80 PLUS Bronze certified for less consumption and efficiency like most PSU nowadays

any thoughts before i decide?
also i would have to bring the OCZ from abroad while the Thermaltake i can get it from 5 minute drive :)

The Toughpower XT is made by CWT, which is a reputable ODM, but I couldn't find anything on which ODM made the OCZ power supply.

If the extra but of money isn't an issue though, you may as well get the TT powersupply though as it seems more convenient to you, though both power supplies would be fine.
