below is a pic of the start of modern art by Marcel Duchamp and his Fountain (urinal)....for me  it seemed we make art by our appreciation and not the artist by his creation .

I have always found 99.99% of anything to be called "modern art" to just be random thrown together shite. They are either deluded or full on con artists.

at this point the concept of art was very much an extension of craft but on a finer scale with a original captivation of the artiest  pov ...after this point in time the creation of art had or could have nothing to do with any craft in the art just the orignal conception of the pov ..weather u shared that or not would make it art or a pile of shite called art
