Was wondering if anyone is into reading Manga & or Manwha/Manwhua and if they have any recommendations and/or what have they read lately

I usual Binge read large Manga/Manwha from various sites, mostly into MMO oriented type(gearing up lvling up or has a similar feeling as if it was an mmo game) or the adventure type of them, and mainly manwha since they have more MMO/Adventure oriented stories.

Lately i've finished or still reading up on..

Spoiler

Anyone read anything similar or have any recommendations or have anything in particular that they read lately and enjoyed in terms of Manga/Manwha/Comics

Apart from GATE (that i read regularly) i havent read much in the last few years.

Monthly releases are a PITA, most manga don't really have a proper end and the good ones usually get made into anime at some point anyway.

Not to mention scanlators that sometimes just drop off the face of the earth.

Still they offer interesting themes like the above that rarely see the light in western media.

Haha can't argue on that and it is...disappointing when that happens thankfully if the demand is great they usually get picked up by someone, unfortunately the manwhas that i read and found interesting generally don't become anime ;'(.

I think that's why i usually search large releases so that they have enough material to keep my occupied until the rest of my titles release new chapters.

Which GATE are you talking about? there's 3 that i know of, "The New Gate", "Steins:Gate", "GATE: thus the JSDF fought there". have not read any of them but two of them watched the anime(i tend to not read manga if something is on anime, unless it completed).

Not anymore but I do read Xianxia/Wuxia novels.

When I was reading manga, my favourite vas Bartender (probably because I worked as a bartender as well :) )

For translated wuxia novels the best one, IMO, is http://www.wuxiaworld.com/

There is a bit of drama going on currently (posted today) with the licensing of some novels, the tl;dr is that they had an oral agreement for English translations but the Chinese publisher is not pretending that never happened.

For Bartender I have no clue where to find it, it was something like 5 years since I last read it.
