So after short planning and laying out everything. and then further adding on and tweaking things. its pretty much settled at this point now. a big thx for Rayva ( Demondim ) for getting this thing started and set up. we got a excel google doc setup and from there on out it was just finding the cheapest deals.

My Current Build for January / February 2018 will consistent of maybe a base £560 at xmas and making that up on February for my birthday to £700. as an unemployed guy currently i have to make do with what i get so compromises need to be made for the budget :)

Processor = Intel 8600k @ 3.6GHz | 6 Cores | 6 Threads

Mobo = GIGABYTE Z370P D3 Express

Ram = Corsair Vengence LPX 2x4GB DDR4 2666MHz (Depending on budget at Birthday. will expand to 16GB)

GPU = ASUS Nvidia GTX780 ( Generously Gifted By Rayva - Very Much Appreciated and thankful )

PSU = EVGA SuperNOVA 750W B1

Storage = Crucial BX300 120gb SSD (Windows + Boot Drive)

Cooling = Corsair Hydro Series H55

Case = CIT Dragon Midi White Case

Current Cost =

all this for under £700 (Minus the GPU) adding a 1050 for base line performance for money spent youre looking at £800 or a 1060 just under £860

after personally never building a PC as ive only every had 1 that is truly my own. it goes to show you that i still didn't know everything.

and a big thank you to Kansalis for explaining and recommending components and questions that i raised in discord. and a thank you to ShallByte for emotional support :P :D nah but for real tho. he set out a basic layout of components for a build that was within budget. even tho the CPU socket never matched the mobo ROFL! :D

As it gets closer to purchasing time, and especially around New Year,  I am sure we can secure even better deals on same or similar components.

It's an exciting and at the same time nerve racking experience building your own PC for the first time.

I'd strongly suggest watching a couple of "how to" and "what not to do" YouTube videos.

A shame you live so far away, otherwise I'd have enjoyed a small trip out on the bike to give some moral support and guidance ;)

Good Luck & keep us posted on progress.

I did it while playing fortnite :)

Was just a ball park figure to show you that you could do a build for £500. Any serious build always takes some research first. Built many a gaming rig in my time so if you need a hand during the build give me a shout. Finished the £3k build for my Mum two weeks ago lol :D

touche man. and its no worries i have the basis on what to do. but id assume if i get confused i check check manuals or youtube videos on how to progress. i know where fan power and mobo power as well as other things like sata etc goes its the stuff at the bottom of the mobo im not all that familiar with.

I know this will sound bad but the motherboard manual is your friend it will show you how and where things plug in. There is 1 more thing to check now I will give an example I have an asus rog board and that for the longest while would give you a blue screen if you had the logitech drivers on it so a bit of research there save hours of WTF
