Source: http://www.stuff.tv/...coming-for-2014

Saw this development on BBC News 24 Click program which predicts the use of 3d hud vision in a contact lens by 2014. I for one am looking forward to having terminator style graphics in front of me. The sad news is that they had to test it on poor bunny rabbits to make sure it was safe, Im against testing on animals for make up as we already have enough of the shit.

I heard of these a couple of days ago.... Apparantly the Pentagon is snapping them up for Military applications. I can see how it would improve Aerial Targeting and Combat Systems, but it will also make Dogfights in video games quite boring :)

I'd say about 7- 8 years before The quality of the visuals and their value is to level where people will replace them with their own gadgets. While I can't see them replacing TV's, I can see them replacing the screens on our smart devices/ satnavs etc.

I like the idea of heroine, i might even get crystal meth, as its cheaper and more powerful. And add crack to the list so when i leave from these three nights i'll be known as the crackhead of GW2.

Initially, It'd be far too expensive to buy (Since the Pentagon is buying them right now, I doubt that it would be commercially available for at least half a decade....). Even then, it would be on the wallet-wasting side of £700. I think that Microsoft will get their hands on it first as far as gaming and commercial availability goes; possibly incorporating it into the (at that time) next- gen Kinect style device. If that happens, I'd say that it'd be available to consumers for around the £450 mark, with a free health-and-safety leaflet thrown in for good measure :)

After playing halo too much, I had a HUD in a couple of my dreams. This would confuse me too much IRL, i'd end up forgetting I do not have an invisibility cloak/perk and might get myself into trouble! ;)
